Question [Warrior Question] Is it possible to select multiple monsters to attack?

I tried to highlight a bunch of monster that were pretty close to one another on my compass/map but that did'nt work. What I wanted to do is target them all. I have a warrior currently and the only way for me to get their attention is if I hit each of them atleast once so they all gang up on me. Selecting and hitting each one to get their attention is quite tedious to say the least. I was hoping I could select a bunch of monsters and that it would then do the secular hitting for me to get their attention and continue on fighting.

From my experience I've noticed that if you just go up to one mob of monsters and start attacking one then they'll all start attacking you. In fact, the little compass in the upper right of the screen helps even better. What I mean by this is that little circle thats around the little dot (representing you) is the aggro circle. If you get a red dot within that circle then they will automatically start charging you... whether its just one or more.

Also, if you have skills that allow you to attack more than one monster (ex: Cyclone Axe, Hundred Swords, etc) then use that. That should get their attention if they hadn't noticed ya before.

The map is just an indication of your location, and the enemies/allies around you. And of course, a way to communicate with your team members. Clicking/writing on it has no influence on selection of targets.

Typically, if you're the only person on the map (no henchmen, no other players), the enemies on the map will become aggressive once you get into a certain range. You don't really need to attack all of them -- they're quite happy to attack you, first.

The exception to this is pre-searing Ascalon, where there are a few peaceful enemies. After pre-searing, the creatures tend to be much more violent and angry at you for violating their space.

So, no, you can't multi-select. For pre-searing or non-aggro creatures, you can press TAB and cycle through, hitting each monster once to get their attention, though.

No wonder, I'm still in pre-searing lvl 5 warrior, I hear it's better to be at lvl 7-8 at searing time. I thought the Monster AI was weird too. At times they would gang up on me while other times monsters would just run past me while I'm pummeling one of their comrades. Pretty much pre-searing you can pretty much walk/run anywhere without getting hit except if it's a Grawl which seems to really like to attack you when they see you.
